C.S. (Caddy) McCall, age 89, of Nocona, TX passed away November 1, 2004 in a nursing home in Carrollton, TX.

     Mr. McCall was born June 11, 1915 in Nocona, TX to Cadmus and Nell McGillicuddy McCall. He married Pauline Davis Wharran on July 9, 1993 in Henrietta, TX. He was a banker at the Farmers and Merchants Bank in Nocona, TX and a longtime rancher in Nocona, TX. He was a member of the St Joseph’s Catholic Church and served his country in the Merchant Marines during WWII.

     Funeral services for Mr. McCall were held Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. at the St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Nocona, TX with Father John Stasiowski officiating. Interment was at the Nocona Cemetery under the direction of Jerry Woods Funeral Home.

     Surviving relatives include: his wife, Pauline McCall; his children, Caddy Stephen McCall, Carrollton, TX; Mark McCall, Nocona, TX; John T. McCall, Coppell, TX and Holly McCall, Austin, TX; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two wives, Elizabeth Jane (Betty) Terrell McCall on December 22, 1974 and Barbara Ann Smith Major McCall on June 1, 1991.

Active Bearers included: Mike Storey, Bruce Major, Robbie Storey, Mark Storey, Mark Linn, Robert Fenoglio, Phil Staley and Chris Bybee. Honorary Bearers included: Raymond Salmon, Condell Lowrie, Bruce Bybee and Ronnie Davis.

     Memorials may be made to the St Joseph’s Catholic Church, 109 Denison, Nocona, TX, 76255, Nocona Library, 10 Cooke St. Nocona, TX or Tails and Trails Museum, 201 Clay Street, Nocona TX, 76255.
