Played With an Old Pistol.

Nocona, Tex. May 10—Yesterday morning three small boys, Frank Purcell, Claud Laforce and Fred Jordan, were playing at the residence of Mr. Purcell, in this place. Frank Purcell picked up what he thought to be an unloaded pistol from a drawer and began snapping it at the other boys. As they turned to run the pistol fired, shooting Fred Jordan through the chest killing him almost instantly. Neighbors heard the report and arrived at the place to find little Fred a corpse. Esquire Russell held an inquest and rendered a verdict as above.
