Melba Blasious, 77, passed away April 20, 2007 in Nocona, TX. 

She was born on December 11, 1929, in Spanish Fort, TX, to Lawrence Lambert and Ora Bell Smith. She was married to Charles Nic Blasious. Melba worked for Gibbs Drugs for 10 years as a clerk and she was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a frequent member of the Nocona Dairy Queen.

Funeral services were Monday April 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Nocona Church of Christ. Burial followed at the Nocona Cemetery. Dale Scott officiated.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Hufnagele of Amarillo, TX; sister, Fern Roberts of Weatherford, OK; brother, Weldon Lambert of Mesquite, TX; two grandsons, Blane Hufnagele of Fort Worth, TX and Bradley Hufnagele of Nocona, TX; a special friend, Ernest Kindsfather of Nocona, TX.

Melba was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Ora Lambert; daughter, Becky Jane Blasious; son, Fredy Blasious; sister, Shirley Hudson.
