Earl W. Nunneley, 80, of Nocona, TX, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2007.

He was born in Anson, TX to W.E. and Gladys Fannin Nunneley. In 1950 he married Mildred Whatley of Denton, TX. His business career varied from telephone company entrepreneur, oil & gas producer, automobile dealer, rancher and real estate developer. Mr. Nunnely served on numerous city and county boards. He was a Christian, taught Sunday School, and served as church trustee and youth director.

A memorial service was conducted on Monday, November 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Nocona. Scott-Morris Funeral Home of Nocona directed the service.

Survivors include: his wife, Mildred of the home; three daughters, Karen Young of Wichita Falls, TX, Barbara of Bartonville and Beth Mazziotta of Dallas, TX; two sons, Jeffrey of Houston and Christoper of Birmingham, AL; four grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and one brother, Jerry of Saint Jo, TX.
