Ned Croxton, who made his home with his sister, Mrs. M. F. Kirby,  had returned from a visit to Rockwall County and had complained of not feeling well. He was born December 7, 1874 at Dangerfield, Arkansas and died at Nocona July 25, 1921. The burial and funeral were held at the Nocona Cemetery. Rev. J. P. Humphreys conducted the service.
