Enoch (Pete) Tilton Honeycutt, 84, of Nocona, TX, passed away September 4, 2009 in Nocona.

He was born January 12, 1925 in Nocona to Esker (Budge) T. and Thelma Lucille Clary Honeycutt. On December 2, 1955, he married Verda Bailey in Oliver Springs, TN. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a nursing home administrator. He was a member of the Pentecostal faith.

Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Jerry Woods Funeral Home Chapel in Nocona with Rev. Jack McBride officiating. Burial followed in Nocona Cemetery, under the direction of Jerry Woods Funeral Home.

Survivors include: his wife, Verda Honeycutt of Nocona, TX; son, Preston T. Honeycutt of PA; daughter, Teresa J. Ratliff of Henrietta, TX; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
