Patsy J. Meekins, 83, of Nocona, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011.

Patsy was born on September 26, 1927, in Nocona, TX to Oline Battles and Willie Meekins. She worked at an insurance company and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Nocona.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 28, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Jerry Woods Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Weldon Wright officiating. Burial followed in Nocona Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Jerry Woods Funeral Home.

Patsy is survived by her sisters, Billie Joy Keck and Sue Storey, both of Nocona, and one brother, Don (Bud) Meekins of Nocona.
