Ruby Faye Benson Vandeventer, 87, of Nocona, Texas, passed away July 2, 2012 in Nocona, Texas.

Ruby was born on January 15, 1925 in Nocona, Texas to Nell Walls and Hugh Lee Benson. She married Lou Etheridge Vandeventer on May 28, 1952 in Denton, TX. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Christ, Assembly of God.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Jerry Woods Funeral Home Chapel in Nocona, TX with Reverend Edwin Brooks officiating. Interment followed at Nocona Cemetery, Nocona, TX.

She is survived by her son, Donald Coffman of Chico, TX; Sisters, Jean Bellah of Electra, TX and Delores Canutte of Decatur, TX; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
