NOCONA – Jack Benny Cunningham, 77, died Aug. 7, 2014 in Nocona, TX. Funeral service was at 2 p.m. Aug. 10 at the Church of Christ in Nocona with the minister Austin Wright officiating. Interment followed at the Nocona Cemetery. Jack was born Oct. 5, 1936 in Nocona to Earmon Thomas Cunningham and Cecile Pearl Reed Cunningham. He married Nancy Reed in Nocona on Jan. 20, 1984. He was an inspector for G.M., Church of Christ deacon and elder, past president of the Nocona Lion\'s Club, Montague County Appraisal Board, and Nocona General Hospital Board, volunteer for Little Dribblers and Buckle Up for Lane, thirty-niners Church of Christ group and a bus driver. He is preceded in death by his parents; one son; one grandson, Brandon Jack Clark and one great granddaughter, Liberty Jacklynn Green. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Cunningham, Nocona; sons, Raymond Cunningham, Bell Aire, TX and Patrick Gilliam, Hartley, TX; daughter, Rebecca Clark, Arlington; step brother, Jackson Ray Stoker; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Green and husband Jeff, Hannah Cunningham, Joshua Cunningham, Abigail Cunningham, Alan Clark and Catherine Clark; and four great grandchildren, Austin and Sarah Green and Jayden and Jase Paull. Active pallbearers were Gene Fitzgerald, Jess Haralson, Lance Meekins, Rick Lewis, Joe Bob Combs, Phil Staley, Doyle Reynolds and Martin Paschal. Honorary pallbearers were Garrett Combs, Brian Staley, and members of the hospital board and Lion\'s Club. Memorials may be made to the Church of Christ youth group, 311 Cooke St. Nocona, TX 76255.
