Rosemary McCall Wingate, 84, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in Nocona, TX.
She was born on February 20, 1930 in Dallas, TX to Mary Weeks and James McCall. She served on several boards and civic groups and was a supporter of the Nocona Library and the Tales N Trails Museum. She was very proud of the project, Taovajas Memorial Bridge which connects Montague County with Oklahoma.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the Scott-Morris Chapel from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. With a Rosary following at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Jack McCone from Wichita Falls, TX leading the service. Funeral is under the direction of Scott-Morris Funeral Home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary McCall; husband, Charles Wingate; sister, Carolyn Perryman; and
nephew, James Perryman.
Rosemary is survived by her sister-in-law, Sally Bowser of Athens; 1 niece, Cam Perryman of Irving, TX; and 1 nephew, Page Perryman of Fort Worth, TX.
In lieu of flowers the family asks you donate to the Nocona Library or the Tales N Trails Museum.
