Georgia Faver, 83 of Nocona, Texas, passed away August 31, 2015, in Nocona, Texas. 
  
Georgia was born on February 22, 1932, in Alfalfa, Oklahoma to Vane Marsh and Frances Wilson. She married Billy Joe Hancock 
who passed away October of 1971, and Forrest Faver who passed away July of 2012. Georgia worked as a florist, secretary at Nocona Middle School, manager at the Nocona Hills Golf Course Pro Shop, owned Georgia’s Restaurant, and was a member of Nocona 
Hills Community Church.
    
Funeral services were held September 3, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Nocona Hills Community Church. Interment followed at Nocona 
Cemetery in Nocona, Texas. Minister Jack McBride officiated.  
  
She is survived by daughters, Amy Hancock of Nocona,Texas, Becky Fleming of Nocona, Texas, Lisa Shepherd; eight grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
