Funeral services were held Thursday June 17, at 3 p. m. at the Daugherty Memorial Chapel for Louis S Meharg who passed away June 16 in a Wichita Falls hospital after an illness of a year. Bro. J. R. Waldrum, minister of the Church of Christ officiated.

Mr. Meharg was born in Alabama January 14, 1872. He moved to Texas when he was small and was a resident of Montague county for 48 years. Two years ago he moved to Wichita Falls and resided there until his death.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. O F. Cooper, Nocona, Mrs. Laura Miller, Jal N. M., and Mrs. Pearl Schrock, Wichita Falls; one brother. L. B.   Meharg, Quanah, Texas.

Interment was in the Nocona Cemetery.
