Death called M. F. Henley at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ike  Walker  near Red Prairie Wednesday morning August 26. He had been ill for a long time, suffered  a stroke of paralysis some years ago that he never fully recovered from. And, had been seriously ill for some time before death  finally summoned him.

He was born December 23rd, 1838. Died August 26th, 1914. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. L. F. Palmer at the home of Mrs. Ike Walker and  the remains interred in the Nocona Cemetery Wednesday afternoon.
