NOCONA – Betty (Martha Elizabeth) Crenshaw, 95, died on April 5, 2019 in Nocona, TX.
A visitation was from 1-2:30 p.m. on April 7 at Jerry Woods Funeral Home Chapel in Nocona.  A funeral service was at 3:30 p.m. on April 7 at the Central Christian Church in Nocona officiated by Minister Lory Hunt under the direction of Jerry Woods Funeral Home. 

Crenshaw was born in Burkburnett on Oct. 29, 1923. to Atlas Gilbert and Adeilade Gilbert. She graduated from Nocona High School and attended Tarleton State University.  She and Billy Jo Crenshaw married in 1945. Crenshaw’s professional career included the following: Graham General Hospital, 1st Federal Savings and Loan Branch manager in Henrietta, and then vice president of the Henrietta Branch. She retired in 1988. She was a pianist for three churches: First Christian Church in Graham, Park Place Christian in Wichita Falls and Central Christian Church in Nocona where she was a member.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Billy G. Crenshaw and brother, Sonny Gilbert. She is survived by her son, Gary P. Crenshaw, Southlake; daughter, Jo Betsy Crenshaw, Possum Kingdom Lake; four grandchildren and five great  grandchildren.
