Lela Fern Walser passed away on April 3, 2019 in Nocona, Texas at the age of 95. She was born July 28, 1923 to Jesse and Minnie (Sumpter) Skinner in Mehan, Oklahoma. 

Mrs. Walser was preceded in death by her beloved husband Leonard Walser, her parents, her sons James Curtis Walser, Ernest Duane Walser, and Richard Benton Walser as well as her brothers Curtis Skinner, Clardy Skinner, Roy Skinner and Bill Skinner. 

She is survived by her daughter Belinda Hendrix and husband Don of Nocona, sister Lucille Bowles of Nocona, and brother Raymond Skinner of Bowie, as well as her 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and a hosts of friends.

Mrs. Walser was a charter member of the Bethel Baptist Church of Nocona and attended church there regularly until she was unable too. 

Services for Mrs. Walser will be Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 1:00PM and services will immediately follow at 2:00 with Dale Berry officiating. Internment will be at Nocona Cemetery.
