Barbara was born October 30,1947 to Marie and Al Ramsey in Paris, Texas. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 23, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was 73yrs of age. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Gideon of 22yrs,her father, Al Ramsey and infant sister, Phyllis Collen Ramsey. Barbara is survived by god daughter, Abi Zimmerman and husband Josh and their daughters, Sophia and Olivia from Crete ,Il. Mother, Marie Tiffee Ramsey from Nocona,  4 brothers, Rickey Ramsey and wife Fay from Whitesboro ,Tx Jacky Ramsey and wife Louise from Montague, Tx. Roger Ramsey and wife Virginia from Nocona, Tx Ronnie Ramsey and wife Rose from Decatur ,Tx 2 Sisters, Karen McNew and husband Dwight from Bluegrove, Tx. Diane Carpenter and husband James from Nocona ,Tx. She is also survived by numerous nieces ,nephews, cousins and friends. Barbara was also an active member of Crown Heights Baptist in Oklahoma City, Ok. as nursery coordinator, ladies fellowship, WMU, youth and Christmas Shoe Box. Barbara was employed at Oklahoma Receivership Office for 31 yrs. There will be a funeral service on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021 at 11 A.M. at Jerry Woods Funeral Home Chapel in Nocona. Interment will follow in Nocona Cemetery with her family acting as pallbearers. Masks are required to attend any portion of the service.
