Amanda Ellisa Horton, 31, passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 20, 2024 in Wichita Falls, TX. She was born to David Wade and Brandy Horton on August 7, 1992 in Gainesville, TX. 

Amanda was a loving soul. She always took care of her kids and devoted her life to them and her family. Many of Amanda’s other loves were music, her cats, being an artist and drawing or painting with her children. 

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Pawpaw, Pete Horton. She is survived by her parents, Brandy Horton of Nocona, TX, David Wade & wife Raulita of Moore, OK, grandmother, Barbara Horton of Nocona, TX, children, Devon Killen of Nocona, TX, Brielle Hernandez of Nocona, TX, sister, Cally Wade of Denton, TX. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 2 – 4 P.M. at Jerry Woods Funeral Home Chapel in Nocona. A funeral service will follow on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at The Veranda Inn at 2 P.M. officiated by Karen McCord. 

Interment will follow in Nocona Cemetery. Pallbearers are Justin Killen, Taylor Ross, Bradley Maxwell, Ross Attebury, Evan Embry, and Richard Reeves. Honorary Pallbearers are Austin Killen, Oscar Hernandez, Tommy Greene, Matthew Maroney, Garrett Lemon and Carter Lemon.
