Donna Russell, 71, passed away at her home in Nocona on November 7, 2024.  She was born on December 9, 1952 in Nocona, TX at the Major Clinic to Sam Taylor & Billie Roberts Taylor.  

Donna loved her family very much and supported them when she could.  She grew up in Nocona and worked mostly as a beautician.  She married Danny Russell on October 8, 1974 in Montague County Texas.  He preceded her in death on April 28, 2012.  

Donna is also preceded in death by her parents, and nephew, Keith Martin.  She is survived by her children, Cody Russell & wife Emily of Haslet, TX, Amy Spikes & husband Adam of Wichita Falls, TX, sisters, Becky Taylor of Nocona, TX and Angela Taylor of Henrietta, TX, brother, Sammy Taylor of Decatur, TX and grandchildren, Colton Russell, Gracie Spikes, Zeddie Russell and Dani Spikes.  

There will be a visitation on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 10 A.M. until service time at Jerry Woods Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at 11 A.M. on Wednesday at the Gazebo in Nocona Cemetery officiated by Pastor Marvin Pepper.  Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society – Lung Cancer Charity or Leukemia Society.
