After an illness of only five days, death claimed Mrs. N. B. Fatherree. She died Thursday afternoon. Both her daughters, Mrs. T. E. Jacobs of Chickasha, Oklahoma and Miss Obbie Fatherree of Wichita Falls, were with her. She was taken ill with la grippe last Sunday and on Monday, was taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Wilson. She became so much worse that her daughters were called to her bedside, where they remained. She was born March 14, 1866 and died January 6, 1916, being 49 years of age. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The funeral was held at the Wilson house on Friday afternoon and interment was at Nocona Cemetery.
