Last Tuesday night, Mr. G. G. Gibson departed this life and was buried on Wednesday afternoon in the city cemetery.

Mr. Gibson was a young man, about 23 years old, and his death was exceedingly sad in view of the fact that he was to have been married in a very few days.

The News extends its sincere condolence to the relatives and friends and especially to the bride to be, and hope that in the better world they will meet to part no more.
