Mrs. Greaves Died Sunday. Sunday morning at their home in the north part of Nocona, Mrs. J.B. Greaves died after an illness of about two weeks. It was known that she was very sick and in a serious condition but no was prepared to hear the news of her death, and it came as a shock to the entire community. Mrs. Greaves was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. P. Paine, was reared in this county and by her life had won a host of friends. The deceased was born February 23, 1870, being 39 years of age at the time of her death. She was married on Christmas eve, 1893 to Mr. J. B. Greaves one of our most prominent citizens and they have lived here since that time. Mrs. Greaves was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paine. She leaves one child and a step-child besides her husband, several brothers and sisters, father and mother and other relatives to mourn her death. The News joins with the entire community in extending sympathy to the bereaved relatives and friends. Mrs. Greaves was interred at the Nocona cemetery Monday morning after the funeral service at the Methodist church. Source: Nocona News
