Pioneer Nocona Woman Dies Here (From the Fort Worth Star Telegram.)

Mrs. Virgie LaForce, 53, of Nocona, died Tuesday in a local hospital. Mrs. LaForce was a pioneer resident of Nocona, having moved here from Tennessee while a girl. She was active in social and church work, a member of the Methodist Church for years. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. L. Z. Cone of Nocona; a son Archer LaForce of Olathe, Kansas; a sister Mrs. M. M. Kern of Wellington; a brother G. W. Moore of Fort Worth, all of whom were with her when the end came. Surviving also are a sister Mrs. W. G. Robertson of El Paso and a brother Arthur Moore who were unable to reach here. The remains were sent to Nocona for interment by Robertson-Mueller. 
Mrs. LaForce was born Dec. 27, 1868 and died July 25, 1922. The funeral services were held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cone, and interment was at the Nocona Cemetery.
