Mrs. Margaret Lee, 72, of Nocona passed away Thursday Oct. 7 at Horizon Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services were held Friday Oct. 8, 1993 at 2 PM at the First Baptist Church of Nocona with Rev. David Bowman and Rev. Warren Miller officiating. Interment followed in Nocona Cemetery under the direction of Scott-Morris Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lee was born April 27, 1921 in Spanish Fort the daughter of Morgan C and Mattie (Brown) Morris. She married Lon Gerald Lee on Oct. 31, 1942 in Nocona. Mrs. Lee was employed by Green Thumb and had worked at the Nocona Literacy Center. She also worked for several years at the Nocona Carpenters Shop Senior Citizens Center. She has been an active member of the First Baptist Church of Nocona and sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Gloria Freeman of Ardmore Okla. and Mrs. Marlene Bishop of Nocona: a son, Tim Lee of Florence Ala.: three sisters, Leola McCommas of Mineral Wells, Ruth Shipley of Spanish Fort, and Dixie Janes of Longview: one brother, Guy Morris of Grand Prairie: two granddaughters, Holly and Hayley Bishop, and two grandsons, Stephen Freeman and Cody Lee.

Pallbearers were Joe Robertson, Yancey Bell, June Roberts, Harold Redman, Louis Maxwell, and Larry Lemons.
