After a long and trying illness, death called C. A. Morris Thursday evening, September 24th. He was well known to all Nocona people. He was a citizen of Nocona many years and will be missed as only the pioneers are. C. A Morris was born July 6, 1851 and died in Nocona September 24, 1914. The funeral services were held at the family residence in the presence of a large number of friends and family. Interment was at Nocona Cemetery. The following family members survive: Mrs. D. C. Campbell of Grandfield, Okla.; Mrs. A. L. Robb and Dresden Morris, both of Electra; Mrs. C. A. Morris and two daughters Kent and Odis will remain in Nocona.
