After a few days of illness, Clifford Samuel Oldham, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Oldham, died Monday evening, stricken with appendicitis last Friday. He was born near Gladys, Montague County, April 6, 1893 and died at Nocona, Sept. 4, 1917, age 24. The funeral services were held at the Central Christian Church Tuesday with interment at Nocona Cemetery. Rev. J. H. Henderson of the Central Christian Church conducted the service, assisted by Rev. Minor Bounds of the Methodist Church.
