Mrs. Dora Sullivan was born October 15, 1862 in Kentucky and lived on earth nearly 53 years. When 17, she married Henry Sullivan in Karo, Kentucky, one year later they moved to Texas and resided near Fort Worth until 17 years ago when they became Nocona citizens. One year after they moved here, Mr. Sullivan died, leaving Mrs. Sullivan and three sons, Robert, Roy and Earl Sullivan, and two daughters, now Mrs. G. Lasseter and Mrs. Ira Benton, all at their mother’s bedside when death called her home. She was a Christian more than 25 years. She passed away at the home of her youngest daughter, Mrs. Ira Benton on October 6, 1915.
