Louise Groves Farris, 89, of Bowie, TX, passed away in Bowie on October 5, 2009. She was born April 12, 1920 in Little Rock, AR to Jim Markford and Sara McClain Towery. On April 9, 1934, she married Grady Groves, who preceded her in death. She then married Clyde Farris on April 19, 1992 in Wichita Falls, TX. He also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Nocona, TX. Graveside services were Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Nocona Cemetery with Minister Austin Wright officiating. Jerry Woods Funeral Home of Nocona directed the service. Survivors include: sons, L.D. Groves of Paris, TX and Grady Groves, Jr. of Nocona, TX; daughters, Annie Sutton and Faye Gresham, both of Bowie, TX and Noveta Skinner of Nocona, TX; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
