The home of Mr. & Mrs. S.W. Kennedy has been visited by the Angel of Death, who took from them their lovely girl baby, Evelyn, after an illness of two weeks. The little one had suffered intensely from stomach trouble. On Tuesday before her death Wednesday afternoon at 6:15 o'clock messages were sent over the wire to out of town relatives that little Evelyn was better. All hearts were lighter, when suddenly there was another change that wafted her little soul to God who gave it, and parents and relatives bowed in sorrow and grief from the shock.

She was born May 3, 1915 and died November 10, 1915, being 6 months and 7 days old.

Dear ones, weep not as those who have no hope, for your little one is basking in the sunlight of God's eternal love, and with beckoning hands is anxiously watching for your coming, and Heaven is only brighter as one more bud has been transplanted to bloom in that celestial garden of flowers. 

Funeral services were conducted at the home Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock by Rev. Wheeler of the M.E. Church, whose consoling words cause the hearts bowed in grief to look and rely on One who is always ready to share our burdens, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Nocona Cemetery.
