NOCONA- Paula B. Woods, 73, died Sept. 10, 2017 in Bowie, TX. A visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Sept. 13 at Jerry Woods Funeral Chapel in Nocona. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 14 at the funeral home with the Rev. Weldon Wright. Interment will follow at the Nocona Cemetery.

Woods was born on July 31, 1944 in Lake Wales, FL to William Paul Brack and Sallie Mae Evans.
She married Jesse D. “Jerry” Woods on Nov. 21, 1962 in Dillon, SC. She was the owner of Jerry Woods Funeral Home for 41 years.

Woods was affiliated with the Nocona OES for more than 25 years, past member of Maids and Matrons, past president of Nocona OES and recipient of the community builder award.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her son, Jerry Paul Woods, Bridgeport and sister, Lola Marie Maroney, Canyon Lake.

Memorials may be made to Scottish Rite or Shriner’s Hospital.
