NOCONA – Jerry Bennett Beckham, 70, died on Sept. 28, 2018 at the Hospice of Wichita Falls inpatient center in Wichita Falls, TX.
A visitation was from 5-6 p.m. on Sept. 30 at Jerry Woods Funeral Home Chapel in Nocona.
The funeral service was at 2 p.m. Oct. 1 at the First United Methodist Church in Nocona under the direction of Jerry Woods Funeral Home.
He was born on March 24, 1948 to George and Buna Beckham in Chickasha, OK. Beckham graduated from Nocona High School in 1966. He met Becky Brown while in high school and they married in January 1967. Beckham worked for various retail businesses, then moved back to Nocona where he worked as a produce manager for Don Armstrong and later Nocona Market Street for 38 years.
He is preceded in death by parents, George and Buna Beckham; and sister, Wynona Holt.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; daughter, Leigh Ann Storey; son, Cody Beckham; four grandchildren; and sisters, Hazel Taylor, Geraldene Hendricks, Mary Jo Long and Wanda Hulen.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Rd., Wichita Falls, TX 76310.
