Margarita Martin, age 75, passed peacefully from this life on June 2, 2024 while in the care of Hospice of Wichita Falls, Tx. She was born Feb. 26, 1949 in Plainview, Tx. to Camillo Fuentes and Marcella Arizola. Margarita worked alongside her mother and siblings doing seasonal work and many other jobs while at home. She married Bobby Joe Martin Nov. 27, 1971. They made their home in Nocona, Tx. During her marriage she worked diligently as a housewife and mother. Outside the home she was employed with Nocona Belt Company for twenty-eight years until the company closing. From there she began her employment with Weber Aircraft and worked for eight years until her retirement. Margarita and her husband also worked in the community doing lawncare and cleaning one of the clinics in Nocona. Margarita had a heart of gold and always put others first. She was a devoted wife and mother; the foundation of the home. She was a wonderful cook and all her family couldn’t wait to eat some of her wonderful cooking! She loved everyone and always saw the good in others. She will be missed dearly. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Joe Martin of Nocona, Tx., brother Felipe Guillen and wife Barbara of Sugden, OK. , sisters Josie Smith of Newton, KS, Becky Zachary and husband Jody of Oklahoma City, OK. She had several nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews whom she adored very much. She was preceded in death by her parents, her children, Maria Elena and Bobby Joe Martin, Jr. Her brothers Joe, Jimmy, and Sipriano Arizola, a sister, Alice Arizola, and a niece, Rena Zachary. She will be at Jerry Woods Funeral Home, 600 Clay St., Nocona, Tx. A graveside serve will be held at Nocona Cemetery, 1600 West Pine, Nocona, Tx at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. Pallbearers are Jerod Guillen, Eddie Grubbs, Jr., Ricky Phillips and Jim L. Keck. Jody Zachary is an honorary pallbearer.
