Johnny Bruce Coker, 80, went to be with The Lord on November 29, 2024 in Burleson, TX surrounded by his family. He was born on August 27, 1944 in Belcherville, TX to Lester Coker & Wynne Ritchie Coker.  

 Johnny was a hard-worker all of his life, working for Delta Airlines for 33 years as a Senior Customer Service Agent.  Johnny was a proud veteran and patriot having served in the U.S. Army.  He also had an enduring love for the Native American people and their culture, which he studied extensively throughout his lifetime.  Johnny’s greatest love was his family.  He married Kim Sewell on August 14, 1977 in Nocona, TX at the Presbyterian Church.  

 Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Barbara Coker Kimray.  He is survived by his wife, Kim Coker of Hurst, TX, son and daughter-in-law, Christopher & Hayley Coker of Bedford, TX, sister-in-law, Kathy Craddock of Nocona, TX ,nephew Scott Kimray and his wife Britney of Rowlett, TX and his dog, Max and grand cats, Lyla and Hana. 

 A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 1 P.M. at Bethel Baptist Church in Nocona officiated by Pastor Rick Tarpley.  Interment will follow in Nocona Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Chris Coker, Hayley Coker, Skip McCucheon, Jim Peek, Leonard Ritchie, and Bobby Wright.  

 Memorial donations may be made to Crazy Horse Memorial, Crazy Horse South Dakota, https://crazyhorsememorial.org/, Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County, 1321 E Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76102 or charity of choice.
