Last Monday afternoon, death called Mrs. Mary Clark from this world. She was born 69 years ago in Ireland and was brought to America by her parents when she was only two years old. She lived in New York state and married William Clark at Buffalo, N.Y. From Buffalo they moved to Arkansas then to Newport, Jack County, and to Nocona when the railroad was built through here. She had lived in Nocona some 35 years. Her husband built the first frame building in Nocona. She is survived by her husband, William Clark, and three of eight children,  Mrs. T. W. Williams, J. G. Clark, cashier of the Nocona National Bank, and Dr. S. J. Clark of Austin. The funeral services were held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Williams, by Rev. J. P. Kline of the Catholic Church at Henrietta. 
She was raised in the Catholic Church. Interment was at the Nocona Cemetery.
