Roy Alan Bell, 56, of Nocona TX, passed away January 16, 2005 in Nocona General Hospital.

He was born January 29, 1948 in Nocona to Morris Leon and Melba Dean Hewitt Bell. On June 26, 1970 he married Linda Hughes in Bowie, TX. He was a leather worker and worked for Nocona Boot Company, National Supply and Webber. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed golfing and fishing.

Services for Mr. Bell were Friday, January 21, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Nocona Church of Christ with Rev. Mike Russell officiating. Scott Morris Funeral Home directed the service. Burial followed in Nocona Cemetery.

Survivors include: his wife, Linda Bell of Nocona; one daughter, Dee Dee Middleton of Nocona; one son, Chad Bell, stationed in Okinawa, Japan; his father, Morris Bell; one sister, Sonya Bell of Wichita Falls, TX; one brother, Ronnal Bell of Montague, TX; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Melba and one brother, Sammy Bell.
