She worked with her husband as owner/operator of Rolls Hatcher and later as a nursing home activity director. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Nocona and Nocona Eastern Star Chapter #62. Funeral services were Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Scott-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Nocona Cemetery. Scott-Morris Funeral Home of Nocona directed the services. Survivors include: two children, Jackie Galvin of IL and Gary Cardwell of Wichita Falls, TX; and one sister, Mildred Sampson of Richland Hills, TX.
