Mary Catherine Painter, 82, of Nocona, TX, passed away on December 19, 2012 in Denton, TX.
She was born on April 1, 1930 in Denton, Texas to Fredda Skinner and Ernest Bruce. She married Jerry Painter on August 23, 1952 in Denton, TX. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Nocona, TX
Funeral services were at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21,2012 at the Bethel Baptist Church in Nocona officiated by Revs. Jerry Smith & Dale Berry. Burial followed in the Nocona Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Jerry Woods Funeral Home in Nocona, TX.
She is survived by her son, James Painter of Nocona, TX; daughters, Sheryl Miller of Gainesville, TX and Teri Hoyt of Montgomery, AL; sister, Carolyn Branch of Denton, TX; brother Fred Bruce of Hilltop Lakes, TX; 7 grandchildren; & 3 great-grandchildren.
