Mattie Evelyn Larison, 87, peacefully passed from this life March 13, 2013 at Hospice of Wichita Falls, Texas with family members at her side.
Evelyn was born June 30, 1925 in Montague County at Belcherville to Thomas Benjamin Burk and Mattie Elizabeth (Long) Burk. She spent her younger years living south of Belcherville while attending school at Barrel Springs and Lone Prairie. She married George Paschal Larison on November 26, 1942 and celebrated almost 70 years of happy and loving times together. She worked and retired at Nocona Boot Company. She was a long-time member of the Nocona Church of Christ.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Nocona Church of Christ.
Survivors include children Barbara Culwell, and Carolyn Bell of Montague, TX, son Larry Larison of Nocona, Texas and many other family members.
