Theresa Adeline Baxter Brown Pettyjohn passed away on November 27, 2017, at the age of 84. Theresa was born April 8, 1933 in Spanish Fort to Reuben and Carmen Baxter and attended schools in Nocona. She returned to Nocona in 1992 after living in various cities in Texas. She was a lifelong member of Bethel Baptist Church.
	Theresa married Posey Lee Brown, who preceded her in death in 1988. Together they have four sons, Mike, Steve, Gary and Kevin. She later married Michael Pettyjohn, who passed away in 2016.
	Theresa is survived by son Mike and his wife, June, Trophy Club; son Steve, Nocona, son Gary and his wife Jean, Rock Springs, Wyoming; and son Kevin and his wife Tira, Brockton, Montana; sister-in-law, Judy Baxter Meyers; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
	Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 30, 10:00 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, Nocona, followed by interment at Nocona Cemetery, under the direction of Scott Morris Funeral Home. Family visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00-6:30.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bethel Baptist Church in Theresa’s memory.
