Michael Ralph Pettyjohn passed from this life on Tuesday, September 13th, 2016.  He was born to Ruth Otwell on December 1, 1932 in Oklahoma.  He was a graduate of Nocona High School class of 1950 as well as a graduate of Texas Tech University, Red Raiders.  Mike served our country in the United States Navy right out of high school.  He was a long-time resident of Nocona, Texas.  He was in the Airline Pilot Association and studying to get his pilots license.  

He is survived by his wife Theresa Pettyjohn, his children: Laurie, Linda, step children Mike, Steve, Gary and Kevin, as well as his brother Bill Reed, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  

Services will be held Friday, September 16, 2016, 1 PM,  at Bethel Baptist Church with Brother Dale Berry officiating.  Interment will follow at Nocona Cemetery.  Scott Morris Funeral Home has been selected to handle the arrangements.
