NOCONA – Herman Penaluna, 82, died on Aug. 2, 2018 in Nocona, TX.
A visitation was from 6-7 p.m. on Aug. 6 at Jerry Woods Funeral Home in Nocona.
A service was at 2 p.m. on Aug. 7 at Jerry Woods Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dave Woodbury officiating.
He was born on Oct. 15, 1935 to Arthur and Lola Reynolds Penaluna in Nocona. Penaluna worked for 25 years as a superintendent in the oilfield. He married Joyce Sterling on Dec. 24, 1956 in Gainesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Lola Reynolds, and brother, Paul Penaluna.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Penaluna, Nocona; son, Steven Penaluna, Nocona; one grandchild and three great grandchildren.
