Patsy “Pat” Taylor, 75, died on Jan. 1, 2022 in Fort Worth, TX. She was born on Mar. 25, 1946 in Boswell, OK to Allen Cheshier & Mayola Burkett Cheshier. She worked as a seamstress for many years before going back to school. She graduated from Texas Women’s University in 1995 and taught 3rd grade in Saint Jo for the remainder of her career. She was an avid golfer and loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved to plan and organize parties and events, especially during the years she lived at Nocona Hills, where she was President of the 19thHole. She was also active at the Nocona Hills Community Church. She married Donald Ray Taylor on Aug. 25, 1965 in Nocona, TX. She is survived by her husband, Donald Taylor of Nocona, TX, daughter, Kim Taylor of Dallas, TX, step-sons, Jeff Taylor of Orange Grove, TX, John Taylor of Christoval, TX, sisters, Jean Butler of Toppenish, WA, Lou Wilkins of Hugo, OK, Judy Wach of Frisco, TX, brothers, Bobby Cheshier of Boswell, OK, Tony Cheshier of Frisco, TX and several half brothers & sisters, 2 grandchildren, Tanya & Amber and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Burkett, Howard, Ray & Allen Cheshier, and sister, Barbara Gardner. There will be a funeral service on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022 at 2 P.M. at Nocona Cemetery officiated by Ron Wilson. Memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Koman Cancer Foundation or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
