He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Mr. Marmaduke worked in the oil fields. Funeral services were Tuesday, January 25, 2005 a 2:00 p.m. at Scott-Morris Chapel in Nocona with Rev. Tommy Lamascus officiating. Burial followed in Nocona Cemetery. Survivors include: two daughters, Warrie Lynn Walser of Wichita Falls, TX and Linda Lofton of Broken Bow, OK; sisters Doris Green of Wichita Falls, TX and Cynthia Lemon of Nocona, TX; one brother, Herman Marmaduke of Nocona, TX; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Clint Marmaduke and A.W. Marmaduke.
