Cynthia Lemon, 93, died on October 7, 2021 in Nocona, TX. She was born on May 12, 1928 in Nocona to Andrew & Lona Roden Marmaduke. Cynthia married C.E. “Jack” Lemon on September 18, 1943 in Nocona, TX. He preceded her in death on Aug. 4, 1994. Cynthia was a very loving person. She took great care of her husband, children and especially grandchildren. She and Jack were very active members in Bethel Baptist Church since 1956. Cynthia is survived by her children, Judy Tischler of Nocona, TX, Cathy Davis of France, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Doris Green, brothers, Clent, A.W., Warren and Herman Marmaduke, as well as granddaughter, Kimberly Sewell. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10 A.M. at Nocona Cemetery officiated by Minister Patrick Hill. Memorial donations may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 310 7th St., Nocona, TX 76255.
