Mrs. Tucker was born May 14, 1914 in Bonita, TX to Walter W. and Annie B. Gregory Price. She was a member of the Spanish Fort Methodist Church, Altar Guild and was the Church pianist. She was a member of the Nocona Eastern Star and worked as a Librarian for Prairie Valley and then at the Nocona Library, where she retired at the age of eighty years.

Funeral services for Mrs. Tucker were held Thursday, October 13, 2005 at the First United Church with Rev. Larry Kruger and Rev. Ed Millican officiating. Interment was at the Nocona Cemetery under the direction of Scott Morris Funeral Home.

Surviving relatives include: two daughters, Carol Hinton, Nocona, TX and Barbara Kelly, Mt Springs; one son, W.R. Tucker, Jr., Nocona, TX; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
