Dawn was born April 17, 1963 to Duane and Jo Ritchie in Nocona. She married Jimmy Carpenter on Aug. 23, 1997 in Las Vegas, NV. She was employed as the technology coordinator at Nocona ISD. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Nocona.

Active pallbearers are Jameson Fenner, Wesley Barger, Garrett Embry, Brian Ritchie, Evan Embry, and Ross Embry.

Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, Buckle Up for Lane Scholarship Tournament, c/o Janna Fenoglio, 375 Fite Rd., Ringgold, TX 76261.
