Jamie Lynn Carpenter, 22, died on November 15, 2020 at her home in Manor, TX. She was born on August 24, 1998 in Wichita Falls, TX to James ”Jimmy” & Dawn Ritchie Carpenter. Jamie was a member of the St. Jospeh’s Catholic Church in Nocona. She was a student at Texas Tech University at the time of her death. She is survived by her grandmother, Jo Ritchie of Nocona, TX, uncles, Leonard Ritchie & wife Michele of Nocona, TX, Brian Carpenter of Texas, aunt, Becca Embry of Nocona, TX, and cousins, Brian Ritchie, Garrett Embry, Cheryl Johnson, Evan Embry, Wesley Barger, Ross Embry and her “little bear” Connor Ritchie. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Duane Ritchie, Bill & June Carpenter and her parents. There will be a graveside service on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 2 P.M. at Nocona Cemetery with Joe Crow & Dr. Chance Dingler officiating. Pallbearers will be Brian Ritchie, Connor Ritchie, Garrett Embry, Evan Embry, & Wesley Barger. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ross Embry & Jameson Fenner. Memorial donations may be made to Nocona Indian Booster Club Scholarship Fund, c/o Steven Nobile, 16683 F.M. 1816, Nocona, TX 76255. She will be greatly missed by the Nocona Community.
