NOCONA – James Alan “Jimmy” Carpenter, 60, died Jan. 23, 2015 in Nocona, TX.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Nocona Elementary gym with Father Richard Collins officiating.
Interment will follow at the Nocona Cemetery.
Carpenter was born April 1, 1954 in Nocona to Billy Jack Carpenter and June Roberts. He married Dawn Ritchie on Aug. 4, 1997 in Las Vegas, NV.
Carpenter was a computer tech for System Analysis, served in the United States Navy, member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Knight of Columbus-fourth degree knight, coached and volunteer for youth sports and NEDC, City of Nocona little league board.
He is survived by his daughter, Jamie Carpenter, Nocona and brother, Brian Carpenter, Moulton.
